AV Birch partners with Triweco to expand timber frame offering
AV Birch has entered into a new partnership with Triweco, the Canadian and Swedish automation specialist, to widen the range of machinery available to timber construction manufacturers in the UK and overseas.
The agreement brings together two companies with long standing experience in engineered timber production and creates a stronger route to advanced automation for factories of all sizes.
Triweco designs and builds customised machinery, robotics, and software for industrialised construction. Its systems support the production of wall, floor and roof panels with a strong focus on accuracy, throughput and safe working environments. AV Birch has built a solid reputation in the UK for reliable truss and joist machinery, including the Uni-Roll range for open web joists and a growing portfolio of automated solutions.
Under the new partnership, AV Birch will act as UK agents for Triweco’s machinery and support its installation and servicing. This includes the new TB12 Light, a compact automated fastening bridge designed for manufacturers looking to take their first steps into panel production automation. At the same time, Triweco will promote the Uni-Roll 750 Open Web Beam Roller Machine in Sweden and Canada.
Henrik Assarsson of Triweco said that the collaboration strengthens their ability to support customers across multiple product lines with integrated, future ready machinery. Graham Clark, Director at AV Birch, said, “We are very pleased to extend our relationship with Triweco and to introduce their wall, floor and roof panel systems to the UK market.”
