Magna-Loc Truss system locks down in Wales

JSI Timber Frame Ltd in Milford Haven have recently invested in our newest truss manufacturing system. The flexible Magna-Loc Truss system for truss builders was developed by AV Timber Engineering for truss manufacturers to make best use of floor space.

As explained by Nathen Houstan, Owner at JSI Timber Frame Ltd “We approached AV Birch as they have an excellent reputation for manufacturing quality timber frame machinery. At JSI Timber Frame we were looking to add truss manufacture to our existing timber frame manufacturing business but required a system that offered us flexibility with regards to floor space. The Magna-Truss system offered us that solution giving us the option of using the area for other production if the trusses were not being produced. The magna truss system also offered a cost effective alternative to the table press requiring less of a financial outlay as we were looking to purchase the machinery outright. The Magna-Loc Truss system is proving easy to use and production output is as we had predicted”.

AV Birch in collaboration with a partner company have combined a system which is ideal for customers wanting to optimise floor space for any other production works as the Post Jib can easily be moved back against a wall and the Magna-Loc Pedestals moved from the floor area. The Post Jib system is supplied with a 37 Tonne C-Clamp head, hydraulic power unit and 11 x wireless Magna-Loc pedestals which lock down to 12mm floor plates.
